– New production process brings advantages in material processing
With the commissioning of the new fiber laser cutting system, MH Metallprofil GmbH is taking another step towards Industry 4.0. Last year, the production facility in Reichstädt was extensively expanded with a hall extension. With the commissioning of the new fiber laser cutting system, the 10 production employees are now working with the latest laser technology. This enables high performance and precision when cutting thin materials. Manufacturing processes are also shortened and simplified. Setup, installation, connection and training took more than a week before the new technology was ready to go. “By investing in state-of-the-art technology, we are continuing on our digitalization course. Our employees have mastered the challenge of the past few weeks excellently, despite double the workload, and are very committed. I’m very proud of that,” says Michael Hübler, Managing Director of MH Metallprofil GmbH. The first projects have already been implemented with the new technology.
