The Open House at MH Metallprofil GmbH, featuring the questions: How are we setting new trends, and why do we need more space?
On Friday, June 16, 2017, the big day finally arrived: our open house, held under the theme “Setting New Standards,” took place at our company grounds in Reichstädt. During the event, we officially inaugurated our new production facility.
In the afternoon, we began the tour for all visitors at 2:30 p.m. Visitors were able to take a look behind the scenes. During a demonstration of how to make a small souvenir—which visitors could then take home—the capabilities of the individual machines were showcased. The welding-themed show truck gave visitors the opportunity to try out state-of-the-art welding technology for themselves.
At 5:00 p.m., our managing director, Michael Hübler, welcomed invited business clients, friends, and Dippoldiswalde’s mayor, Jens Peter (Independent Voters), who also delivered a welcoming address. The welcome ceremony concluded with the official dedication of the new production hall, marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Afterward, the event moved on to a more relaxed atmosphere. Delicious food and drinks, along with good music, kept everyone well fed and entertained.
The expansion of our production space by 800 square meters opens up new opportunities for us. The facility already features a crane runway, which will allow us to take on larger construction projects than before and provide more customized solutions for our customers. We are also moving forward with the purchase of new machinery and equipment to further automate our manufacturing processes. As we move toward Industry 4.0, we look to the future with optimism.
